A Vision To Grow

The Project

The plans for growing our building have been made to address not only the immediate needs of our congregation, but to lay the foundation for God’s work through Sunnycrest in the future.

From an expanded parking lot to more classrooms and office space, the heart of all of this is to enable our ministry to others and our growth with God and each other. We have faith that God will use these resources and work through us in ways we can’t even imagine!

Sunnycrest’s last expansion was designed to accommodate a church of 500 people, a number we will quickly surpass. In order to meet the needs of an even larger congregation, we must move forward on a building plan that will enable our future ministries.

Funding

Sunnycrest hopes to raise $1.3 million, which is more than three times our annual operating budget.

Planning and estimates up to this point have been paid through our Building Fund. The actual construction will be funded by a bank loan, which will be repaid through the Building Fund and the fruits of our capital stewardship journey.

Members will be asked to make a three-year commitment on Commitment Sunday, March 28.
