Looking Ahead

Sunnycrest United Methodist Church is excited to be embarking on our capital stewardship journey entitled “A Vision to Grow.” Through expanded parking, classroom space, worship and gathering areas, we can be a light in Sioux Falls now and in the future.

As the body of Christ, Sunnycrest UMC is already active in reaching out to the people of Sioux Falls and the surrounding area. In order to continue serving our growing congregation and community needs, an expansion of our current facility is needed. “A Vision to Grow” will help us prepare for the next phase of our growth as a church.

The $1.3 million construction project we have planned allows us to continue to grow in the future as we seek to grow in making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. While our journey may be challenging at times, together we have the opportunity to see the miracle God will call forth.

We hope this Web site will answer your questions about our capital stewardship journey and shed some light on our goals and how we hope to achieve them to the glory of God.

Who We Are

Sunnycrest is a family of people who seek to grow together in Christ. We formed in 1923 with 11 charter members and have since grown to a congregation of 500.

Achieving Our Goal
